WICK Nasivin® Classic 0.05% Nasal Spray

WICK Nasivin® Classic 0.05% Nasal Spray is a medicine for the local treatment of colds. The active ingredient oxymetazoline hydrochloride causes a decongestion of the nasal mucous membrane, which facilitates nasal breathing. The effect starts within 25 seconds and lasts for up to 12 hours. The product is suitable for adults and children from 6 years of age and contains preservatives.

Indication:
For the treatment of acute rhinitis, allergic rhinitis, vasomotor rhinitis, to facilitate the drainage of secretions in sinusitis and in tubal catarrh in conjunction with rhinitis, and for diagnostic mucosal decongestion.

Application:
Adults and children from 6 years: 2-3 times daily one spray into each nostril. The duration of use should not exceed 7 days. Re-application should only take place after a break of several days.

Side Effects:
Possible side effects include local irritations such as burning or dryness of the nasal mucous membrane, sneezing, and in rare cases systemic effects such as headache, insomnia, or palpitations. Prolonged use may lead to chronic swelling of the nasal mucous membrane (rhinitis medicamentosa).

Oxymetazoline hydrochloride, benzalkonium chloride, citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate dihydrate, glycerol 85%, purified water

Storage instructions:
Do not store above 25 °C. Keep out of reach of children. After opening, the product is stable for 12 months.

Instructions for use:
For nasal use only. Clean the nose before use. When first used, pump several times until a uniform spray mist is released. After use, clean the spray nozzle and replace the protective cap.
