When the tear film cannot adequately moisten the eyes, they feel dry and irritated, and blinking causes friction – as if there were a foreign body in the eye. Visiodoron Malva® with non-GMO sodium hyaluronate and mallow extract stabilizes the tear film, soothes and moisturizes. Irritated, dry or tired eyes are thus moisturized and soothed.

How does non-infectious conjunctivitis develop?
In contrast to purulent, infectious conjunctivitis, which is usually caused by bacteria, allergies and other external irritants are among the most common causes of non-infectious conjunctivitis (e.g. sun exposure, smoke, dust, pollen or chlorine in indoor pools). Non-purulent conjunctivitis can also occur in connection with a cold or flu-like infection. Likewise, the conjunctiva can become inflamed as a result of prolonged overexertion. Weleda Tip: Easier application of eye drops
Sometimes it is difficult to apply eye drops to irritated eyes, especially in infants or small children. However, if you place a drop in the nasal corner of the closed eye, the drop will run in by itself.

Dosage and method of administration:
Unless otherwise prescribed, instill 1 drop into the conjunctival sac 3 times daily.
