Trauma Ointment Mayrhofer Warming

For chronic complaints

Heat is the right therapy in the late phase after an injury (after approx. 48 hours) or for chronic complaints. Heat ideally stimulates blood circulation, which leads to a quicker alleviation of symptoms. Muscles, joints, and tendons relax, thus relieving pain.

To be applied to healthy skin:
For the treatment of pain in:

• older injury sequelae such as bruises, strains, sprains
• degenerative changes of the musculoskeletal system
• rheumatic complaints
• tennis elbow
• sciatica pain

Ingredients and effect:
Methyl salicylate has pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects. Cayenne pepper extract and purified essential turpentine oil locally promote blood circulation and thus have pain-relieving and warming effects.

What Trauma-Salbe wärmend Mayrhofer contains
The active ingredients are:
Methyl salicylate 5.0 g
Turpentine oil (Terebinthinae aetheroleum e pino pinastro) 5.0 g
Thick extract from cayenne pepper (Capsici fructus),
extractant ethanol 80% V/V, standardized to 2.0-2.4% capsaicinoids 0.91 g

The other ingredients are: Lanalcolum, Cetostearyl alcohol (Lanette O), white petrolatum,
Aluminum stearate, isopropyl myristate, glucose syrup, purified water

Trauma-Salbe wärmend Mayrhofer must not be used,

• if you are allergic to methyl salicylate, turpentine oil, cayenne pepper extract or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
• as a large-area long-term treatment in patients with a tendency to bleeding, stomach and intestinal ulcers, severe liver or kidney damage
