for acute injuries

Cooling is particularly important in the acute phase (in the first 48 hours)! Cold therapy leads to pain relief as well as a reduction in inflammatory reactions and edema formation. Furthermore, the development of bruising and swelling is curbed, as blood vessels constrict due to the cold.

For the local treatment of pain in the following injuries/conditions:

• Acute injuries of muscles, joints and tendons such as contusions, strains, sprains
  
• Overexertion
  
• Acute rheumatic inflammatory conditions, sciatica
  
• Pain in the joints and spine (lumbar spine, cervical spine), slipped disc syndromes, lumbago

Ingredients and effect:
Methyl salicylate has pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects. Menthol has a cooling effect and is slightly anesthetic. Methyl salicylate, menthol and camphor have circulation-promoting properties. In the case of injuries and inflammation, increased blood circulation leads to a faster reduction of symptoms.

Menthol is the main component of essential peppermint oil and essential spearmint oil. Menthol has, among other things, an expectorant effect and relaxes spasms in the bronchi. Menthol has a cooling effect and acts as a mild local anesthetic.

The camphor tree belongs to the laurel family. The plants of this family usually have leathery and evergreen leaves. An essential oil is extracted from the wood of the camphor tree, which can be used for coughs, but also for muscle pain and rheumatic complaints. Camphor can, among other things, stimulate and facilitate breathing.
