Painful mixed infection in the mouth and throat
Angina catarrhalis; as an adjuvant in angina lacunaris and Angina Plaut-Vincenti; candidamycosis.
The gargle solution can be used after tonsil operations and tooth extractions to promote uncomplicated healing.
Dosage, type and duration of application
Tonsillol gargle solution is ready for use and is used undiluted. Rinse or gargle with undiluted Tonsillol gargle solution (15 ml) 2 – 3 times daily for about 15 – 30 seconds.
A graduated measuring cup is included. Use in the morning (noon) and in the evening after meals.
Type of application
For gargling or rinsing.
Duration of application
Tonsillol gargle solution should be discontinued a few days after the symptoms have subsided.
Note:
If the symptoms are accompanied by fever, or if the symptoms do not significantly decrease after 3 days at the latest, a doctor should be consulted, as a tonsillitis requiring treatment may be present, which can trigger serious secondary diseases of the heart and kidneys.
Composition
100 ml gargle solution contain 10 mg dequalinium chloride.
Other ingredients: 15 g propylene glycol, 0.2 g macrogolglycerol hydroxystearate, 0.075 g dentomint oil (consisting, among others, of peppermint oil, menthol, cineole, cinnamon [cinnamon aldehyde] and cinnamon leaf oil), propylene glycol, dentomint oil, macrogolglycerol hydroxystearate (Cremophor RH 455), poloxamer 188, fatty acid sarcoid sodium salt (Medialan LD), sodium cyclamate, patent blue E 131; C.I. 42051, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, sodium hydroxide, purified water
