Talcid® chewable tablets are available in two pack sizes: 20 or 50 tablets.

How do Talcid® chewable tablets work?
Talcid® chewable tablets neutralize excess stomach acid and bind bile acids and pepsin, which can further burden the esophagus. One Talcid® chewable tablet contains 500 milligrams of hydrotalcite. This active ingredient is an antacid (medicine for neutralizing stomach acid) with a clever layered lattice structure. This enables controlled and long-lasting acid neutralization in the stomach: only as much active ingredient as

needed is released to achieve an optimal pH value in the stomach. Only when re-acidification occurs is further active ingredient released. This ensures a long-lasting effect.

Talcid® chewable tablets – easy to use, practical for on the go
Talcid® chewable tablets are easy to take and fit anywhere in your bag – ideal for on-the-go when quick help is needed for heartburn and acid-related complaints. If necessary, thoroughly chew one to two chewable tablets and then swallow them – water is not necessary for ingestion.

Between meals and before bedtime, up to twelve tablets can be taken throughout the day. Other medicines should be taken at least two hours before or after consuming Talcid® chewable tablets to avoid impairing the absorption of other medications.

Talcid® chewable tablets are suitable for ages 12 and up. They are vegan and free from lactose, gluten, and sugar. If symptoms persist for more than two weeks during therapy, they should be clarified by a doctor to rule out a possible organic illness.
