What are Sperti Preparation H Hemorrhoidal Suppositories and what are they used for?
For hemorrhoidal conditions.

Hemorrhoids are nodular dilations of the veins in the anal area. They can occur inside or immediately outside the anus. Depending on their location, hemorrhoids can cause bleeding (usually bright red blood on the stool), itching, burning, weeping, as well as dull pressure and pain in the rectum. Sperti Preparation H is an anti-inflammatory medicine for the treatment of hemorrhoidal conditions and shrinks hemorrhoids, relieves pain, eliminates burning, itching and stinging. Treatment should be started promptly at the first signs of hemorrhoidal conditions to achieve a quick and lasting effect. An improvement in symptoms can usually be expected after about 5 days.

How to use Sperti Preparation H Hemorrhoidal Suppositories?
For insertion into the anus. Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is: Adults: Insert 1 suppository into the anus in the morning and evening, and after each bowel movement. Not suitable for children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

First, separate a suppository along the perforation. Then carefully pull apart the two upper ends and remove the foil wrapping. Insert the suppository as far as possible into the anus. It is best to lean forward while doing this. Treatment should not be interrupted immediately after the first symptoms have subsided, but should be continued for at least 5 days to specifically build up the damaged skin tissue. If symptoms persist or if the expected success is not achieved after 14 days of use, medical advice should be sought as soon as possible. Follow the dosage exactly. The active ingredients are: Ethanolic brewer's yeast thick extract (skin respiration factor 162 E; 23 mg/suppository) and shark liver oil (69 mg/suppository).
The other ingredients are: Witepsol, Paracera M, cocoa butter, polyethylene glycol-600-dilaurate, glycerin
