The energy and delicacy of the plant are infused into the Dr. Hauschka Blackthorn Body Oil. It supports the skin through massage by strengthening, warming, and firming. For this reason, it is often used as a care oil during pregnancy. The blackthorn oil is also a helpful companion during the dark time of year when feeling fatigued.

This care oil has proven particularly effective during pregnancy. During this time, it is crucial to keep the skin supple to help prevent stretch marks. The blend of medicinal plant extracts of delicate blackthorn blossoms, skin-strengthening birch leaves, St. John’s wort oil from sun-drenched crops, and jojoba oil supports elasticity and resilience. The plant parts are matured in sunflower oil from certified organic cultivation for one week using a special rhythmic process. In this phase, the mixture is heated to 37 °C – human body temperature. It is stirred gently every morning and evening so that the full power of the medicinal plants is transferred to the oil.
Instructions for use
After showering or bathing, gently massage the care oil into still-damp skin. This allows the resulting water-in-oil emulsion to be absorbed more easily.
Shower products, bath additives, and body lotions can be used for supplementary care.
For a pinching massage, take the oiled skin between your thumb and index finger, lift it slightly, and then let it go. Repeat this five times per skin area.Quality
