S.Calon Duo Shampoo

s.calon® duo.shampoo is a purely physical-acting preparation for the safe, rapid, and convenient treatment of head lice infestation.

The innovative 2-phase product concept enables comprehensive treatment success in just 15 minutes.

s.calon® duo.shampoo covers lice and their nits with a thin film, thus suffocating the parasites.

s.calon® duo.shampoo consists of two phases:

Phase 1 – Active ingredient phase:
consists of a silicone oil mixture that ensures the reliable elimination of head lice and their eggs (nits).

Phase 2 – Rinse-out aid:
is a shampoo consisting exclusively of ECOCERT-compliant natural cosmetic raw materials that washes out the active ingredient phase as well as the dead lice and nits from the hair without leaving any residue.

Application:
Please follow the application instructions carefully – this is crucial for treatment success!

Dosage:
The amount used depends on individual hair length and density.

For s.calon® duo.shampoo, the following amount is recommended:

* For particularly long or thick hair, increase the amount accordingly.

Application:

Step 1: Place a towel around the shoulders of the person to be treated.

Step 2: Dampen the hair with water.

Step 3: Remove s.calon® duo.shampoo from the package and shake the bottle vigorously for at least 15 seconds until the 2 phases are homogeneously mixed.

Step 4: Apply s.calon® duo.shampoo to damp hair.

To do this, part the hair into several sections with the enclosed nit comb and apply the shampoo quickly. For long hair, lift the hair up to reach the areas at the hairline on the neck.

Spread the shampoo with your fingers on the hair and massage it in until the scalp and hair are completely covered with the shampoo!

Ensure that sufficient product is applied in the areas behind the ears and on the neck.

If you take a long time to apply, the two phases may separate (visible through the bottle). In this case, shake the product again and continue the application.

Step 5: Leave the shampoo on the hair and scalp for 15 minutes. If available, we recommend using a shower cap.

Step 6: After the exposure time, add enough water to lather the shampoo vigorously and then rinse thoroughly from the hair with plenty of warm water. Then systematically comb through each section of damp hair with the enclosed nit comb to remove any remaining dead lice and nits from the hair. Afterward, dry the hair as usual.

Step 7: Since the probability of re-infestation due to contact with people with acute head lice infestation is particularly high in the initial phase of a lice epidemic, we recommend a second treatment 8 – 10 days after the first treatment.
