RodiCare® Senior is a complementary feed for rabbits, guinea pigs, and small rodents, specially formulated to provide nutritional support for older animals.

The formula combines ginseng, ginkgo, and hawthorn with cartilage nutrients such as glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate, as well as L-carnitine and selected plant ingredients.

RodiCare® Senior supplements the diet of older animals with selected nutrients and secondary plant compounds.

Ingredient properties

Glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate are key components of cartilage tissue and support its water-binding capacity and elasticity.

Ginseng, ginkgo, and hawthorn supplement the diet with secondary plant compounds. L-carnitine plays an important role in energy metabolism. Willow bark naturally contains salicin. Stinging nettle complements the formula with additional plant-based ingredients.

Feeding recommendation

Administer via food or directly into the mouth.

Depending on body weight:

• Dwarf hamster and mouse: 0.05 ml 2–3 times daily

• Hamster and degu: 0.1–0.15 ml 2–3 times daily

• Rat and chinchilla: 0.15–0.2 ml 2–3 times daily

• Guinea pig and dwarf rabbit: 0.25–0.3 ml 2–3 times daily

• Rabbit: 0.35–0.5 ml 2–3 times daily

For long-term feeding, the dosage can often be reduced to once daily.

Shake well before use. Rinse the dosing syringe thoroughly after use.

Fresh water should always be freely available.

Pack size

20 ml glass bottle with dosing syringe.

Storage and shelf life

Do not store above 25 °C and keep protected from light.

Use promptly after opening.

Shelf life: 24 months.

Side effects and tolerance

In sensitive animals, intolerance reactions to individual components may occur.

In the event of noticeable reactions or a deterioration in general condition, feeding should be discontinued and veterinary advice sought.
