RodiCare® Appetit is a complementary feed for rabbits, guinea pigs, and small rodents containing calamus, gentian, ginger, and wormwood. The selected plant ingredients and flavorings support the appetite in a nutritionally physiological way and supplement a herb-poor diet.

The product is particularly suitable for animals with reduced food intake.

What is it intended for?

RodiCare® Appetit was developed to provide support during periods of reduced food intake.

• Easy to administer directly into the mouth or over food

Feeding Recommendation

Administer RodiCare® Appetit over food or directly into the mouth.

Depending on body weight, 1–3 times daily:

• Mouse and hamster: 0.05 ml

• Rat: 0.1 ml

• Guinea pig and dwarf rabbit: 0.2–0.3 ml

• Rabbit: 0.4–0.6 ml

Recommended feeding duration: 2–5 days.

Shake well before use. Rinse the dosing syringe thoroughly after use.

Fresh water and high-quality hay should always be freely available as well.

15 ml glass bottle with dosing syringe.

Storage and Shelf Life

Store at temperatures not exceeding 25 °C and protect from light.

Use up after opening.

Shelf life: 24 months.

Important Information

Loss of appetite in rabbits, guinea pigs, and small rodents must be taken seriously. Due to their metabolism and specific digestive physiology, a prolonged lack of food intake can quickly lead to health problems.

Animals that are not eating, or eating significantly less than usual, should be examined by a veterinarian so that the cause of the loss of appetite can be determined.

• Wormwood, macerated: 1.5 %

• Gentian root, macerated: 1.5 %

Flavoring: Black pepper extract.
