RodiCare® akut is a complementary feed for rabbits, guinea pigs, and small rodents to support and regulate digestive processes.

The combination of selected herbs, vegetable oils, and inactivated brewer's yeast supplements a herb-poor diet and supports the natural intestinal flora as well as normal intestinal activity.

RodiCare® akut can be used particularly for nutritional support during digestive problems.

Selected plant ingredients

RodiCare® akut contains, among others, gentian, rhubarb, celandine, chamomile, peppermint, fennel, blackberry leaves, caraway, and turmeric.

Additionally, the formulation contains flavorings from milk thistle, artichoke, and licorice root extract to improve palatability and digestibility.

Feeding recommendation

RodiCare® akut can be given via food or directly into the mouth.

Depending on animal species and body weight:

• Mice and dwarf hamsters: 0.05–0.1 ml 3 times daily

• Gerbils, rats, and hamsters: 0.15–0.2 ml 3 times daily

• Guinea pigs and dwarf rabbits: 0.25–0.3 ml 3 times daily

• Rabbits: 0.35–0.6 ml 3 times daily

Shake well before use. Rinse the dosing syringe thoroughly after use.

Storage and shelf life

Do not store above 25 °C and protect from light.

Use up after opening.

RodiCare® akut is a complementary feed and not a veterinary medicine.

In case of persistent loss of appetite, lack of defecation, bloated belly, pain, significantly altered feces, or a deterioration in general condition, the animal should be examined by a veterinarian immediately.

Composition

• Refined vegetable oils: linseed oil, rapeseed oil, sunflower oil, and soybean oil

• Inactivated brewer's yeast: 2%

• Turmeric

• Peppermint leaves

• Chamomile flowers

• Celandine

• Fennel seeds

• Blackberry leaves

• Gentian root

• Rhubarb root

• Caraway seeds

Macerated herbal ingredients 1.5% each; ground herbs according to the product composition in proportions of 0.1% or 0.05% respectively.

Side effects and tolerance

In case of intolerance reactions or a worsening of digestive complaints, feeding should be discontinued and veterinary advice sought.
