Most of the time, we are not consciously aware of our digestion. It is only when problems arise that we deal with the function of our gastrointestinal tract. Acid-related complaints such as heartburn can make life particularly difficult for us. Triggers are often rich, hearty meals, sweets, fruit juices or coffee. Eating in a hurry or emotional stress can also trigger heartburn. The cause of the burning sensation behind the breastbone and for acid reflux: food pulp mixed with stomach acid flows back into the esophagus and irritates the sensitive mucous membrane there. Then rapid relief is important.

Reloxan® ­doubly effective against heartburn
Reloxan® chewable tablets quickly help with acid-related stomach complaints and can be taken easily and inconspicuously at any time, even in between meals. They dissolve in the mouth: the ingredients calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate and prickly pear extract are released directly and can immediately unfold their effect. The mineral acid buffers neutralize excess stomach acid. The quickly soluble magnesium carbonate ensures a rapid onset of action, while calcium carbonate has a longer-lasting buffering effect on the pH value of the gastric juice. The natural mucilages of the prickly pear form a protective film over the irritated mucous membrane of the esophagus. This quickly alleviates heartburn and unpleasant reflux.

Reloxan® chewable tablets contain no gelatin, no gluten and no lactose. This means that vegans or people with a lactose or gluten intolerance can safely take the chewable tablets. Reloxan® chewable tablets are also free of aluminum compounds.

Reloxan® – easy to use
Reloxan® is recommended for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over. Affected persons take one chewable tablet as a single dose. If necessary, one tablet can be chewed up to four times a day. The best time to take Reloxan® chewable tablets is one hour after a meal. Affected persons can also use Reloxan® for relief of heartburn before bedtime or between meals. The chewable tablets are available in fruit and mint flavors.

Composition
1 chewable tablet contains: 450 mg calcium carbonate, 50 mg magnesium carbonate,
75 mg prickly pear extract (OPUNXIA 70), sorbitol, corn starch, maltodextrin,
passion fruit flavor, magnesium stearate.

Dosage and application
Unless otherwise recommended, adults and adolescents aged 12 and over take 1 chewable tablet as a single dose as needed. If necessary, 1 chewable tablet can be taken up to 4 times a day.

Reloxan® chewable tablets are preferably taken one hour after meals, and if necessary, before bedtime or in between meals. The chewable tablets can be sucked or chewed. Reloxan® chewable tablets may interact with orally administered medicines, so take Reloxan® chewable tablets 1-2 hours apart from these medicines and inform your doctor.

The intake should not exceed 30 days. For prolonged complaints, a doctor should be consulted. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, please ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice. Note for diabetics: 1 chewable tablet contains up to 0.56 g sorbitol. May have a laxative effect if consumed excessively.
