ratioDolor® rapid Ibuprofen Weichkapseln 400 mg

• Mild to moderate pain, such as headaches, menstrual pain, toothaches
• Fever and pain associated with colds.

Contact your doctor if you, as an adolescent or adult (with fever), do not feel better or feel worse after 3 days, or as an adult (with pain) after 4 days.

Application

• Adults, children, and adolescents weighing 40 kg or more (and from 12 years of age): Take 1 soft capsule (400 mg ibuprofen) with water as an initial dose, then 1 soft capsule (400 mg ibuprofen) every six hours if needed. Do not take more than 3 soft capsules (1200 mg ibuprofen) within 24 hours.
• Use in children and adolescents: A doctor should be consulted if this medicine is needed for more than 3 days in children and adolescents, or if symptoms worsen. Do not give ratioDolor rapid Ibuprofen to adolescents weighing less than 40 kg or to children under 12 years of age.
• Method of administration: For oral use. Do not chew soft capsules. It is recommended that patients with a sensitive stomach take ratioDolor rapid Ibuprofen with food. If taken shortly after a meal, the onset of action of ratioDolor rapid Ibuprofen may be delayed. If this applies, do not take more ratioDolor rapid Ibuprofen than recommended in this section or until the correct time interval for the next dose has passed.
• Duration of use: This medicine is intended for short-term treatment only. The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest duration necessary to relieve symptoms. If you have an infection, consult a doctor immediately if symptoms (e.g., fever and pain) persist or worsen (patient leaflet - see section 2).

• The active ingredient is ibuprofen. Each ratioDolor rapid Ibuprofen 400 mg soft capsule contains 400 mg of ibuprofen.
• The other ingredients are: Capsule content: Macrogol 600 (E 1521), Potassium hydroxide (E 525), Purified water, Allura Red (E 129), Capsule shell: Gelatin, Liquid sorbitol (E 420).
