ratioDolor® akut Ibuprofen 300 mg Pain Tablets

Ratiopharm ratioDolor Ibuprofen 300 mg pain tablets relieve pain, inhibit inflammation and reduce fever by inhibiting prostaglandin production. They are suitable for the treatment of headaches, toothaches, muscle pain, joint pain, menstrual cramps and colds. Also for the acute treatment of migraine attacks and tension headaches in adults, adolescents and children aged 6 years and older.

Ingredients/Composition:
Active ingredient: Ibuprofen lysine salt (equivalent to 292.6 mg ibuprofen) per tablet.
Other ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, talc, magnesium stearate, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, methylhydroxypropylcellulose, macrogol, glycerol.

Side effects:
Common side effects include gastrointestinal complaints such as nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, as well as headaches and dizziness. Serious side effects may include gastrointestinal bleeding, heart attack or stroke. At the first signs of severe reactions, such as skin rashes, breathing difficulties or swelling, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a doctor.

Composition:
1 film-coated tablet contains 500 mg ibuprofen lysine salt (equivalent to 292.6 mg ibuprofen) as well as microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, talc, magnesium stearate, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, methylhydroxypropylcellulose, macrogol, glycerol.

Application/Dosage:
Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older: maximum 4 tablets daily, divided into several doses. Children aged 6 to 11 years: maximum 2 tablets daily, possibly divided into ½ tablets up to 4 times daily. Take whole with plenty of liquid with or after meals. Do not use for longer than 3 to 4 days without medical advice.

Storage/Notes:
Do not store above 25 °C. Keep medicines out of reach of children. Do not consume alcohol during use. Do not use in the last trimester of pregnancy.
