Prospan® Cough Liquid is a herbal medicine for use in catarrhal diseases of the respiratory tract. It contains a dry extract from ivy leaves, which has a mucolytic, cough-relieving and antispasmodic effect on the bronchi. The proven active formula supports the clearing of the airways and facilitates expectoration. Ideal for the whole family (children from 6 years of age).

Application:
Prospan® Cough Liquid is taken undiluted in the morning, (at noon) and in the evening. Shake the bottle well before use. When using portion sachets: gently knead the sachet before use, tear it open and take the contents. The duration of use depends on the type and severity of the illness, but is usually 1 week. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.

Ingredients:
Active ingredient: 5 ml liquid contains 35 mg dry extract from ivy leaves (5 - 7.5 : 1). Extractant: Ethanol 30% (m/m).
Other ingredients: Potassium sorbate (Ph.Eur.) (preservative), anhydrous citric acid (Ph.Eur.), xanthan gum, sorbitol solution 70% (crystallizing) (Ph.Eur.), flavorings, levomenthol, purified water.
(5 ml contain 1.926 g sorbitol = 0.16 BE).
