Dexpanthenol, also known as panthenol or provitamin B5, is a biologically active precursor of pantothenic acid, which is an important component of coenzyme A. This coenzyme plays a crucial role in cell metabolism, fatty acid synthesis and energy production. Dexpanthenol also promotes skin regeneration and moisturizes.
