OMNi-BiOTiC® STRESS Repair is a probiotic with 9 selected bacterial strains that occur naturally in the human intestine. This combination has been specifically researched in the context of the gut-brain axis and is particularly suitable for supplementing the gut microbiome during times of increased stress.

What is OMNi-BiOTiC® STRESS Repair intended for?

The human organism can cope well with stressful everyday challenges for a certain period of time. Once these have been mastered, there is often a positive feeling of having achieved something. However, if you are unable to find calm over a longer period, the persistent stress can affect the entire organism.

The gut microbiome is particularly sensitive to stress. Extended periods of strain can influence the composition and diversity of gut bacteria.

A high level of bacterial diversity is of central importance because different bacterial strains in the gut perform different tasks. Among other things, gut bacteria are involved in metabolic processes and the formation of various messenger substances.

Communication between the gut and the brain, the so-called gut-brain axis, plays a special role in this. Via this connection, the gut, nervous system, and brain are in constant exchange.

OMNi-BiOTiC® STRESS Repair combines 9 scientifically researched bacterial strains that have been used in studies on the gut-brain axis.

How does OMNi-BiOTiC® STRESS Repair work?

OMNi-BiOTiC® STRESS Repair supplements the gut microbiome with 9 bacterial strains that occur naturally in the human intestine.

The contained bacterial strains are specifically matched to each other. The viability and reproductive ability of the bacteria are guaranteed until the best-before date.

One portion of 3 g contains at least 7.5 billion viable and reproductive bacteria. With two portions totaling 6 g, at least 15 billion bacteria are ingested.

A monthly pack of 28 sachets contains a total of 210 billion viable and reproductive bacteria.

Recommended intake

Stir 1 sachet of OMNi-BiOTiC® STRESS Repair (= 3 g) into approx. 1/8 liter of water 1 to 2 times daily.

Alternatively, the powder can also be stirred into diluted fruit juice, milk, tea (max. 40 °C), yogurt, or similar foods.

After stirring, wait at least 1 minute for activation, then stir again and consume.

It is recommended to take it on an empty stomach if possible, for example in the morning before breakfast and/or in the evening before dinner or before going to bed.

OMNi-BiOTiC® STRESS Repair can be used over a longer period.

Important notes on preparation

The liquid in which OMNi-BiOTiC® STRESS Repair is dissolved must not be hotter than 40 °C. The bacteria contained can tolerate temperatures similar to the human body.

The product should not be stirred into coffee, alcohol, or drinks/foods with a very acidic pH value such as cola, grapefruit juice, or vinegar.

If possible, carbonated drinks should also not be used for preparation.

Use in case of fructose intolerance

OMNi-BiOTiC® products contain small amounts of various dietary fibers that serve as specific food for the contained bacteria. These include, for example, fructooligosaccharides (FOS) and inulin.

In cases of known fructose intolerance, the activation time of OMNi-BiOTiC® STRESS Repair should be extended to 30 minutes.

During this time, the bacteria metabolize the majority of their food, such as fructooligosaccharides and inulin, so that only small amounts of these substances subsequently reach the gut.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Since OMNi-BiOTiC® STRESS Repair contains only bacterial strains that occur naturally in the human intestine, the product can also be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding according to the manufacturer.

Side effects and tolerance

No general side effects are reported when used as directed.

Especially at the beginning of taking products with bacterial cultures and dietary fiber, sensitive individuals may experience temporary changes in digestion, such as flatulence or altered stool consistency.

In case of known intolerance to any of the ingredients, the product should not be taken. Seek medical advice if symptoms persist or are unusual.
