Who is OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN® Intensive Care Ointment suitable for?

Healthy skin is densely populated with countless organisms that live together peacefully in a complex ecosystem: In addition to over 1,000 different types of bacteria, fungi and mites are also among the inhabitants.

A balanced colonization with these microbes protects us from pathogens on the skin and supports the immune system and many other functions of this important barrier. The latest research shows that a disturbance of this microbial balance is clearly linked to various skin diseases such as neurodermatitis.

This is where OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN® Intensive Care Ointment comes in and supports the skin in two ways: with active, probiotic bacteria and nourishing oils. This combats the symptoms of neurodermatitis and intensively cares for stressed, cracked skin areas.

How does OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN® Intensive Care Ointment work?

In neurodermatitis, the diversity of beneficial bacterial strains on the skin is reduced, and there is an imbalance between the different types of bacteria (= dysbiosis). This allows pathogens such as Staphylococcus aureus to spread more easily and damage the affected skin (barrier), which often leads to inflammation and severe itching.

OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN® Intensive Care Ointment contains the patented bacterial complex Baplexin® 621 – a unique combination of 9 active, specially selected and scientifically researched bacterial strains.

These active probiotic skin inhabitants naturally supplement the skin's microbiome, displace pathogens, and restore the skin flora to balance – the skin is actively regenerated and cared for. After just a few days, the skin's appearance improves, and itching is significantly relieved.

OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN® Intensive Care Ointment contains only natural ingredients and is free of fragrances and preservatives, making it particularly suitable for very stressed and sensitive skin. Through targeted application to stressed skin areas, the active probiotic bacteria support the skin exactly where it needs help.

How is OMNi-BiOTiC® Intensive Care Ointment used?

In the acute phase: Apply to neurodermatitis-affected skin areas 2 to 3 times a day for 14 days.

For basic care and mild skin irritations: Apply to affected skin areas once a day as needed. OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN® Intensive Care Ointment is suitable for long-term use.

After application: Allow the care ointment to absorb and do not rinse it off. We recommend showering at the earliest after 8 hours, otherwise the good bacteria will be washed away before they can colonize. The care ointment can always be combined with OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN® Intensive Skin Bath for the protection and care of highly stressed and neurodermatitis-affected skin.

Important notes: Also for accompanying therapy, combinable with all common anti-inflammatory topical therapeutics. When applying, make sure that the ointment does not get into the eyes.
