Who is OMNi-BiOTiC® HETOX suitable for?

Our liver is a true multi-talent: Every day, 2,000 liters of blood are filtered here and freed from unwanted substances (such as alcohol, pollutants, or medications). At the same time, important nutrients, namely carbohydrates, fats, and proteins, are metabolized in the liver and thus made usable for the body.

But that's not all! The liver is an important internal storage organ for vitamins, sugar, and various trace elements such as iron. Furthermore, the liver produces bile acids, which we need for fat digestion, as well as numerous so-called plasma proteins. These play an important role, among other things, in the transport of nutrients, blood clotting, and important immune defense reactions.

The liver is also very robust: The liver can regenerate itself within a few weeks. However, even this organ cannot withstand unlimited stimuli. What many people don't know: The liver doesn't signal when it's at its limit, because it contains no nerves and therefore cannot send out alarming signs.

How much the liver has to do depends largely on the gut. Because these two organs are closely connected via the so-called gut-liver axis: Many small blood vessels originating from the gut lead into the portal vein, which goes directly to the liver. Which substances pass from the gut to the liver depends largely on the gut barrier. This can select whether a particle is useful or not – and only allow selected substances to pass through.

This is where the gut bacteria come into play: Their composition and diversity shape the gut barrier.

How does OMNi-BiOTiC® HETOX work?

OMNi-BiOTiC® HETOX supplements the gut flora with nine naturally occurring, multiplying bacterial cultures found in the human gut.

The viability and reproductive capacity of the specially coordinated bacteria are guaranteed until the best-before date.

How is OMNi-BiOTiC® HETOX used?

1 x daily, stir 1 sachet of OMNi-BiOTiC® HETOX (= 6 g) into approx. 1/8 l of water or (diluted) fruit juice, milk, tea (up to max. 40° C), yogurt, or similar, wait at least 1 minute for activation, stir again, and then consume.

Please note generally: The liquid in which you dissolve OMNi-BiOTiC®
• must not be hotter than 40° C (bacteria tolerate exactly the same temperatures as the human body),
• should not be coffee, alcohol, or another product with a very acidic pH value (e.g., cola, grapefruit juice, vinegar), and
• preferably contain no carbonic acid.

It is recommended to take it on as empty a stomach as possible, e.g., in the morning before breakfast or in the evening before dinner or before going to bed. It is recommended to use OMNi-BiOTiC® HETOX for a longer period. This has been tested and is advisable.

Since OMNi-BiOTiC® HETOX contains only bacteria naturally found in the human gut, it can also be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
