OMNi-BiOTiC® COLONIZE is a dietary supplement containing 6 selected bacterial strains naturally occurring in the human intestine.

A daily dose of 2 sachets (= 6 g) contains at least 18 billion bacteria capable of reproduction and survival. The product was specifically developed to target the replenishment of the intestinal flora after intestinal cleansing, for example, as part of preparation for a colonoscopy.

Who is OMNi-BiOTiC® COLONIZE suitable for?

Before a colonoscopy, the bowel is emptied as completely as possible using a special drinking solution. This intensive intestinal cleansing can temporarily alter the composition of the gut microbiome.

OMNi-BiOTiC® COLONIZE is particularly suitable:

• after intestinal cleansing as part of a colonoscopy

• for the targeted replenishment of the intestinal flora with selected bacterial cultures

• in phases where the gut microbiome has been altered by intensive bowel emptying

• for individuals who wish to specifically supplement their diet with selected intestinal bacteria after a colonoscopy

Intestinal flora after a colonoscopy

The human intestine houses a great variety of microorganisms that together form the gut microbiome.

The bowel emptying required to prepare for a colonoscopy can temporarily change the composition and quantity of the existing intestinal bacteria. After the procedure, the gut microbiome begins to develop anew.

OMNi-BiOTiC® COLONIZE provides a combination of 6 selected bacterial strains for this purpose. No statements regarding the treatment of illnesses or guaranteed permanent colonization of the intestine can be derived from this.

The daily dose of 2 sachets (= 6 g) contains at least 18 billion bacteria from the following 6 strains:

• Lactobacillus acidophilus W37

• Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus WGG

• Enterococcus lactis W54

• Lactococcus lactis ssp. lactis W19

• Bifidobacterium animalis ssp. lactis W51

• Bifidobacterium bifidum W23

Recommended intake

Take 1 sachet (= 3 g) twice daily.

Stir the contents of one sachet into approx. 1/8 liter of liquid. Suitable examples include water, diluted fruit juice, milk, tea (max. 40 °C), or yogurt.

Wait at least 1 minute for activation, then stir again and consume.

It is recommended to take the product on as empty a stomach as possible, for example, in the morning before breakfast and in the evening before dinner or before going to bed.

Preparation instructions

The liquid used should:

• not be warmer than 40 °C

• ideally contain no carbonation

• not be highly acidic

Coffee, alcoholic beverages, cola, grapefruit juice, or vinegar, for example, are not recommended for preparation.

A monthly pack contains a total of at least 504 billion bacteria capable of reproduction and survival.

Side effects and tolerance

In sensitive individuals, temporary digestive changes such as flatulence or altered stool consistency may occur, especially at the beginning of use.

The product should not be taken in case of known intolerance to any of the ingredients.
