OMNi-BiOTiC® CAT & DOG is a complementary feed for cats and dogs of all ages containing two specially selected bacterial strains and MOS (mannan-oligosaccharides).

The bacterial combination was specifically developed for the animal gut and provides at least 1.25 billion bacteria per daily dose. The formula is supplemented by MOS as a dietary fiber component.

Which animals is OMNi-BiOTiC® CAT & DOG suitable for?

OMNi-BiOTiC® CAT & DOG is suitable for cats and dogs of all ages and can be used in particular during phases when the gut flora is under special stress.

This includes, for example:

• changes in diet

• changes in stool consistency

• sensitive digestion

• strenuous or stressful situations

• phases following significant physical exertion

The contained bacterial cultures serve as a targeted supplement to the daily feed.

2 specially coordinated bacterial strains

OMNi-BiOTiC® CAT & DOG contains 2 selected bacterial strains with at least 1.25 billion bacteria per daily dose.

The gut of dogs and cats harbors numerous different microorganisms, which together form the gut microbiome. Its composition can be altered by nutrition, changes in diet, age, and various external influences, among other factors.

With MOS

The formula also contains MOS (mannan-oligosaccharides). These are special carbohydrate structures or fiber components that sensibly supplement the composition of the complementary feed.

Feeding recommendation

OMNi-BiOTiC® CAT & DOG is mixed once daily directly into the food. It can be given with both dry and wet food.

No prior activation time is required.

Dosage according to body weight:

• under 16 kg: ½ measuring spoon daily

• 16–30 kg: 1 measuring spoon daily

• 30–40 kg: 2 measuring spoons daily

• over 40 kg: 2–3 measuring spoons daily

A duration of application of at least 2–4 weeks is recommended.

Important notes

Complementary feeds are no substitute for a balanced and species-appropriate diet.

In cases of severe or prolonged diarrhea, blood in the stool, vomiting, fever, significant weakness, weight loss, or a deterioration in general condition, the animal should be examined by a veterinarian.

Special caution is advised for puppies, kittens, older animals, or animals with pre-existing conditions, as fluid loss due to diarrhea can quickly become problematic.

Side effects and tolerability

In sensitive animals, temporary changes in digestion or stool consistency may occur, especially at the beginning of feeding.

In the event of unusual or persistent reactions, feeding should be interrupted and veterinary advice sought.
