What is Nurofen 24 h Pain Plaster used for and how?
The plaster is suitable for the short-term symptomatic treatment of local pain in acute muscle strains and sprains in adolescents aged 16 and over and adults.
Apply the plaster only to clean, dry and healthy skin. Simply peel off the film from the adhesive layer and apply directly to the painful area. Replace with a new plaster after 24 hours if necessary.

What should you consider when using Nurofen ® 24-hour pain plaster?
- If no improvement or even a worsening occurs during the recommended treatment period of 5 days, a doctor should be consulted immediately.
- The plaster should be used for the shortest possible period.
- The plaster must be used whole and must not be cut. It should not get wet while wearing and should not be covered with other plasters or bandages.
When should you not use Nurofen ® 24-hour pain plaster?
Do not use:
- if you are hypersensitive to the ingredients or acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
- if you have ever suffered from allergic reactions such as asthma, shortness of breath, itching, runny nose, skin rashes or swelling after taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or acetylsalicylic acid
- during the last three months of pregnancy
- Do not use the plaster on injured, infected or diseased skin, or on eyes, lips or mucous membranes.
When should you consult your doctor before use?
If you
- suffer or have ever suffered from asthma or allergies;
- have a stomach ulcer or intestinal, heart, kidney or liver problems;
- are in the first 6 months of pregnancy or are breastfeeding.
How should I store the Nurofen ® 24-hour pain plaster?
Keep medicines out of the reach of children. Do not store above 25°C, store in the original packaging to protect the contents from light.
Shelf life: 2 years
After opening the pouch: 6 months
