MucosaPlex® is a dietary supplement specially developed to support the intestinal mucosa and immune system. The blend contains vitamin C as well as trace elements such as manganese, copper, selenium and zinc to protect cells, especially those of the intestinal mucosa, from oxidative stress. A regular supply of selected micronutrients is particularly important due to the continuous renewal of cells in the intestinal mucosa.

The intestinal mucosa is the largest mucosa in the human body and plays an essential role in nutrient absorption and protection against unwanted substances. Vitamin A, in the form of β-carotene, supports the maintenance of normal mucosae. Optimally complemented by the bioidentical amino acid L-glutamine as well as chamomile and decaffeinated green tea extract.

Strengthening the body's own immune defenses
A considerable part of the immune system is located in the gut. Zinc, selenium, copper, vitamin B₆, vitamin C and vitamin D contribute to the normal function of the immune system. The selected micronutrients support the body in maintaining its natural immune defenses.

Recommended intake and information

It is recommended to take 1 capsule twice daily with meals and sufficient liquid. The product contains green tea extract (epigallocatechin-3-gallate) and should not be taken on an empty stomach, together with other green tea products, or by pregnant or breastfeeding women and children under 18 years of age.

With a daily intake of 2 capsules, one pack lasts for one month.
