Neo-Emedyl Dragees

Product Information & Legal Notices

For the prevention and symptomatic relief of motion sickness

Product Information

What are Neo Emedyl Dragees and what are they used for?

Neo Emedyl Dragees contain the active ingredients dimenhydrinate and caffeine. Dimenhydrinate is a proven active ingredient against dizziness, nausea and vomiting. It acts directly on the balance center and the vomiting center in the brain and is suitable for the prevention and treatment of symptoms of motion sickness, such as dizziness, nausea and vomiting when traveling by ship, airplane, train, bus or car.

Caffeine counteracts the sedative effect of dimenhydrinate. It stimulates the cerebral cortex as well as the respiratory and circulatory centers and supports cardiac performance. One dragee contains approximately the amount of caffeine found in half a cup of filtered coffee or one cup of black tea. Caffeine can reduce fatigue.

Areas of Application

  • Prevention of motion sickness

  • Treatment of dizziness, nausea and vomiting associated with motion sickness

Application and Dosage

Please consult your pharmacist or doctor if you are unsure how to take Neo Emedyl Dragees.

Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, the usual dosage is:

Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over take 1 dragee approximately 30 minutes before the start of the journey. If necessary, another dragee can be taken every 4 to 6 hours.

The dragees should be taken with sufficient non-alcoholic liquid, for example a glass of water.

The duration of treatment should be kept as short as possible. For longer use, treatment should be medically supervised.
