What is nasic® pur Nasal Spray and what is it used for?
Xylometazoline has vasoconstrictive properties and thus causes decongestion of the mucous membranes. Dexpanthenol is a derivative of the vitamin pantothenic acid, which is characterised by wound-healing and mucous membrane-protective properties.

nasic® pur Nasal Spray is used for the decongestion of the nasal mucous membrane in case of colds and for the supportive treatment of the healing of skin and mucous membrane lesions, episodic runny nose (vasomotor rhinitis) and for the treatment of nasal obstruction after surgical interventions on the nose. nasic® pur Nasal Spray is intended for adults and schoolchildren.

How to use nasic® pur Nasal Spray?
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or exactly as agreed with your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, adults and schoolchildren should apply one spray of nasic® pur Nasal Spray into each nostril up to 3 times a day as needed, holding the bottle upright; inhale lightly through the nose during the spraying process. The dosage depends on individual sensitivity and effect. For children up to 14 years of age, use must be supervised by parents or adults.

Duration of administration
Do not use nasic® pur Nasal Spray for more than 7 days without medical or dental advice. For the duration of use in children, a doctor should always be consulted. Prolonged use of nasic® pur Nasal Spray can lead to chronic swelling and ultimately to atrophy of the nasal mucous membrane. Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of nasic® pur Nasal Spray is too strong or too weak.

What nasic® pur Nasal Spray contains
The active ingredients are: Xylometazoline hydrochloride and Dexpanthenol. 10 g solution contains 10 mg Xylometazoline hydrochloride and 500 mg Dexpanthenol. One spray of 0.1 ml solution (corresponding to 0.10 g) contains 0.1 mg Xylometazoline hydrochloride and 5.0 mg Dexpanthenol.

The other ingredients are:
Potassium dihydrogen phosphate, sodium monohydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate, purified water
