What is META-CARE® Griffonia Plus?

META-CARE® Griffonia Plus contains the amino acid 5-HTP from the African black bean (Griffonia simplicifolia). 5-HTP is a precursor to the "happiness hormone" serotonin, which has a positive effect on mood and also influences the body's sleep-wake rhythm.

The formula is ideally supplemented with an extract from rhodiola (Rhodiola Rosea). Rhodiola, also known as golden root, is a very robust plant that has been used in folk medicine in Russia and Scandinavia for centuries.
