Lit-Control pH Balance - zur Unterstützung des Diätmanagements bei Nierensteinen

Lit-Control pH Balance is a food for special medical purposes for the dietary management of kidney stones. It has been specially developed to reduce the formation of kidney stones that can occur at normal urine pH levels (5.5 to 6.2). These primarily include calcium oxalate stones. Use is also recommended for stones of unknown composition, as well as for patients after surgical kidney stone removal or stone disintegration who want to prevent the renewed formation of kidney stones.

Lit-Control pH Balance consists of a combination of 5 different active ingredients: phytate, magnesium, polyphenols, zinc and vitamin A.

• Phytates (salts of phytic acid) are extracted from rice bran. They inhibit the formation of calcium crystals.
• Magnesium forms soluble complexes with excess oxalate instead of calcium, from which no kidney stones can form.
• Polyphenols act as free radical scavengers (antioxidants) and thus protect kidney tissue from inflammation and oxidative stress.
• Zinc and Vitamin A enhance the effect of phytates. Zinc strengthens the binding of phytates to calcium, which means fewer crystals can form, and Vitamin A slows down the breakdown of phytates.

Ingredients:
Rice bran extract (Oryza sativa, 85% calcium-magnesium-phytate/phytin), grape seed extract (Vitis vinifera, 95% polyphenols), hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (coating agent E464), magnesium oxide from seawater, polyvinylpyrrolidone/vinyl acetate copolymer (stabilizer E1208), silicon dioxide (anti-caking agent E551), zinc gluconate, calcium carbonate (colour E170), starch sodium octenylsuccinate (coating agent E1450), magnesium stearate (stabilizer E470b), retinyl acetate (vitamin A).

Recommended intake:
It is recommended to take one capsule each with breakfast and dinner with a glass of water. For patients with swallowing difficulties, the capsules can be opened, stirred into yoghurt or fruit juice and taken.

Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. Use only under medical supervision. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
