Licener Lice Shampoo

Application:

• Apply LICENER® Head Lice Shampoo to dry hair. The active ingredient will be too diluted in wet hair. Be sure to use a sufficient amount of shampoo to fully cover all hair. Depending on hair length, it is recommended to use one bottle of LICENER® per person.
• Massage LICENER® Shampoo carefully from the scalp to the hair tips. Wet all areas of the scalp up to the hairline – including behind the ears and on the neck.
• Now leave LICENER® Shampoo on for 10 minutes.
• Rinse LICENER® thoroughly with lukewarm water. It is not necessary to wash the hair with a conventional shampoo after treatment.
• Then dry the hair as usual with a towel and hairdryer.
• If necessary, the hair can be combed with the LICENER® nit comb after drying to remove dead lice and nits.

You should also note:

• Empty nits are still visible even after successful treatment and are not a sign of lack of effectiveness.
• If several family members are affected by head lice, all should be treated with LICENER® Shampoo on the same day to prevent re-transmission.
• Ensure that the shampoo does not get into the eyes, as this – as with any shampoo – can lead to eye irritation.
• The application of LICENER® Shampoo can be repeated at any time without problems, should a renewed infestation with head lice occur.

Ingredients
The active ingredient in LICENER® is the naturally effective extract of the neem tree. LICENER® is easy to use and works quickly and reliably in just 10 minutes.

Ingredients:
Neem extract, water, polyglyceryl-3 caprate, cocamidopropyl betaine, glyceryl laurate, glycerin, lauryl glucoside, dicaprylyl ether, lauryl alcohol, benzyl alcohol, benzoic acid, sorbic acid, dimethyl glutarate and dimethyl adipate

Mechanism of action

• LICENER® Head Lice Shampoo contains the naturally effective extract from the seeds of the neem tree. Unlike previously available neem oil-based products, it is obtained from the defatted seeds using special extraction methods.
• LICENER® forms a film over lice and nits. In combination with mild surfactants, the effective components contained in the neem extract, so-called polyphenols, penetrate the breathing pores of the lice and effectively block oxygen transport.
• LICENER® also overcomes the protective shell of the eggs. The lice suffocate within minutes. The lice eggs dry out and die. The excellent effectiveness against all developmental stages of head lice, including lice eggs, makes a second application unnecessary.
