Description

Lefax® intens Mikro Granulat was specifically developed for the rapid relief of more severe gas-related complaints in the gastrointestinal tract. These particularly include bloating, feelings of fullness, belching, abdominal pain, and cramping abdominal discomfort.

Thanks to the modern microgranule form, the sachet content dissolves directly in the mouth within a few seconds and can be taken without water. This makes Lefax® intens Mikro Granulat particularly suitable for on the go, while traveling, or in daily professional life.

The active ingredient simethicone acts exclusively locally in the gastrointestinal tract, is not absorbed by the body, and is excreted unchanged. Despite the high dosage, the product is considered well-tolerated.

Mechanism of action

Simethicone releases gases trapped in foam bubbles in the gastrointestinal tract. The released gases can then escape naturally.

In addition, the new formation of foam in the digestive tract is reduced. This can effectively reduce symptoms such as bloating, pressure, and feelings of fullness.

Application

For gas-related gastrointestinal complaints

Adolescents from 14 years and adults:

• 1 sachet up to 4 times daily.

This corresponds to a maximum daily dose of 1,000 mg simethicone.

Place the microgranules directly on the tongue. The sachet content dissolves rapidly due to saliva. If necessary, a little liquid can be drunk afterwards.

It is preferably taken with or after meals, and if necessary, before bedtime.

Duration of application

The application can be continued until the symptoms subside.

If necessary, longer-term use is also possible. In case of persistent or recurring symptoms, medical advice should be sought.

Notes

• Free from alcohol, sugar, and lactose.

• Suitable for diabetics.

• One sachet corresponds to approximately 0.1 bread units (BE).

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Note the expiry date on the packaging.

Side effects

No side effects have been observed so far in connection with the use of Lefax® intens Mikro Granulat.

Due to the local mode of action of simethicone, the product is considered well-tolerated. In case of unusual symptoms, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted.
