Korodin® Heart and Circulatory Drops

What are Korodin® Cardiac-Circulatory Drops and what are they used for?
Korodin® Cardiac-Circulatory Drops contain a combination of D-camphor and hawthorn fruit extract as active ingredients.

Korodin® Cardiac-Circulatory Drops are used for dizziness due to low blood pressure, especially when standing up after lying down, bending over, or prolonged sitting (hypotonic and orthostatic circulatory dysregulation).

How to take Korodin® Cardiac-Circulatory Drops?
Always take Korodin® Cardiac-Circulatory Drops exactly as described in this leaflet. Please consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Unless otherwise prescribed, take 10 drops of Korodin® Cardiac-Circulatory Drops 3 times a day on a lump of sugar, which you let dissolve in your mouth, or on a piece of bread (for diabetics), which you chew slowly, or you can drop Korodin® Cardiac-Circulatory Drops undiluted onto your tongue, if the medicinal taste does not bother you.

Depending on the severity of the symptoms, the dosage can be increased to up to 25 drops 3 times a day after consulting your doctor.

In cases of fainting spells and impending collapse, 5 - 10 drops are taken every 15 minutes until improvement occurs.

The preparation should not be taken with water, as the ingredient D-camphor is not water-soluble and can precipitate.

Korodin® Cardiac-Circulatory Drops can also be taken for long-term therapy, depending on the type of symptoms. There is no experience with children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of Korodin® Cardiac-Circulatory Drops is too strong or too weak.

What Korodin® Cardiac-Circulatory Drops contain:
The active ingredients are D-camphor and liquid extract of hawthorn fruits. 100 g solution contain: 2.5 g D-camphor 97.3 g liquid extract of fresh hawthorn fruits (Crataegi fructus recens) (1:1.3-1.5; extractant ethanol 93 vol.-%) Other ingredients: Levomenthol (flavoring). Contains 60 vol.-% alcohol (ethanol).
