Protects the eye surface overnight
During sleep, hardly any tear fluid is produced, and regular lubrication with eye drops is not possible overnight. HYLO NIGHT® was specially developed for nocturnal protection of the eye surface. The soft and smooth eye ointment spreads well on the irritated eye surface and, with the ingredient Vitamin A, relieves the sensation of burning, dry, and tired eyes. HYLO NIGHT® is free from preservatives and therefore very well tolerated. The economical eye ointment is stable for 6 months after opening the tube. HYLO NIGHT® is suitable as a nocturnal supplement to HYLO® eye drops for all stages of dry eyes.

Soft eye ointment with Vitamin A
Vitamin A is an essential active ingredient for our body, important, for example, for the regulation of growth or the protection of mucous membranes. It is also considered a so-called "eye vitamin". This is due to its significant role in visual acuity and tear fluid of the eyes. The vitamin is a natural component of the tear film. This supports the good tolerability of HYLO NIGHT®. It also ensures that the eye ointment mixes well with the natural tear fluid and that the eyelids glide more easily over the cornea and conjunctiva.

Application:

• Lean your head back slightly, pull the lower eyelid slightly away from the eye with the finger of one hand.
• Hold the tube upright over the eye with the other hand. Apply a small strand of ointment into the conjunctival sac by gently pressing the tube.
• Close your eyelids slowly. Excess ointment can be removed with a compress or tissue.

When applying eye ointments, direct contact of the tube tip with the eye and facial skin should be avoided. The contents of one tube should always only be used by one person to prevent the possible transmission of germs and pathogens.

Dry eyes, also known as Sicca syndrome, manifest with various complaints such as burning, redness, or itching; the eyes feel tired or irritated. For mild to moderate symptoms, moisturizing eye drops provide quick relief. For patients with more severe and chronic complaints, special highly viscous gel drops that adhere particularly long to the eye surface are recommended. Due to its greasy consistency, a slight impairment of vision may occur, which is why the use of the medical device is primarily recommended overnight.
