Hyaluronic acid is a natural moisturizer and filler for the skin, produced by epidermal keratinocytes and dermal fibroblasts. It is crucial for skin hydration and volume. With age, the natural content of hyaluronic acid decreases, leading to the formation and deepening of wrinkles. Its two main benefits are:
- Wrinkle Reduction: High molecular weight hyaluronic acid (~2,000 kDa) is able to bind and store large amounts of water, keeping the skin firm and well-hydrated. This helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles in the upper skin layers.
- Deep-acting skin rejuvenation: Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid (~52 kDa) penetrates deeper into the epidermis, stimulates the skin's natural hyaluronic acid synthesis, and promotes cell proliferation.
Application
In the morning, apply Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler + Volume-Lift Day Cream for normal to combination skin to a thoroughly cleansed face, neck, and décolleté and massage in. Avoid direct contact with the eyes.
Step-by-step instructions for HYALURON-FILLER + VOLUME-LIFT Day Cream for dry skin
Apply to thoroughly cleansed skin in the morning. Apply to face, neck, and décolleté. Massage the product in with firm, upward movements.
Then apply Eucerin HYALURON-FILLER Eye Cream. Allow the cream to absorb for five to ten minutes before applying makeup.
