Dosage

To open the tube for the first time, pierce the aluminum foil at the opening with the thorn embedded in the tube cap. Apply a 3-5 cm strip of ointment (more if necessary) to the affected area once to several times daily and gently massage until it has disappeared. In the case of acute phlebitis or thrombosis, the ointment should not be massaged in, but only applied as an ointment dressing. The duration of treatment for blunt trauma is usually up to 10 days, and for superficial phlebitis, 1-2 weeks.

Recommended application

The ointment is also suitable for physical treatment methods such as phonophoresis. When used in conjunction with iontophoresis, the ointment should be applied under the cathode. Important: Do not use on open wounds, inflamed or infected skin, in case of purulent processes, or in the area of the eyes and mucous membranes. Use in children and adolescents is not recommended due to a lack of experience. If symptoms persist or success does not occur, medical advice should be sought as soon as possible.
