Glycerin Suppositories Sanova MP for adults are used for the short-term treatment of occasional constipation.

Effect:
Moves and moisturizes the fecal mass and facilitates its excretion.

Ingredients:
1 suppository contains 2250 mg glycerin; other ingredients: sodium stearate and sodium bicarbonate, sufficient for 2500 mg.

Recommended dosage & application:
The recommended dose is 1-2 suppositories as needed over 24 hours.

Remove the suppository from the aluminum wrapper and insert it completely into the anus, inserting the pointed part first.

Storage & notes:
Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Do not use if you are known to be intolerant to any component of the preparation. Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged or the expiry date indicated on the packaging has been exceeded. The indicated expiry date refers to the intact, correctly stored packaged product.

The suppositories must be stored in a dry place and protected from heat sources; if necessary, they should be held under cold water before being removed from the aluminum wrapper.

They are also suitable for aiding bowel evacuation in cases of limited mobility, e.g. bedriddenness, or painful anal conditions such as hemorrhoids or anal fissures. The glycerin contained softens the stool and facilitates bowel emptying through its lubricating effect.
