Gengigel® Gingival Gel is a medical device based on hyaluronic acid and is particularly suitable for use in acute periodontal conditions such as gingivitis and periodontitis. It contains 0.2% hyaluronic acid and helps to alleviate typical symptoms such as bleeding gums, swelling, and irritated gums.

The hyaluronic acid used is obtained through a patented biotechnological process that ensures high quality and purity. The form of hyaluronic acid contained in Gengigel® corresponds to the natural hyaluronic acid found in healthy gums.

What is Gengigel® Gingival Gel intended for?

Gengigel® Gingival Gel is suitable for targeted use for:

• Inflamed and bleeding gums

• Gingivitis

• Periodontitis

• Periodontal pockets

• Gum injuries following dental procedures

• Abrasions

• Tooth extractions

• Cleaning of periodontal pockets

• Irritated oral tissue caused by fixed dentures

• Irritated oral tissue caused by removable dentures

Effects & Properties

The included hyaluronic acid supports the natural regenerative processes of the gums and contributes to the care of the oral mucosa.

Gengigel® Gingival Gel:

• Allows for targeted application directly to the affected area

Application

After thorough oral hygiene, apply the gel with a clean finger to the affected area and massage it gently into the gums.

Apply Gengigel® Gingival Gel 3 to 5 times daily for a period of at least 3 to 4 weeks, or until the symptoms of the periodontal condition have subsided.

Specific Population Groups

Due to its safety profile, Gengigel® can also be used by population groups who may have an increased need for hyaluronic acid. This includes in particular:

• Pregnant women

• People with diabetes

• Elderly individuals

• Children

• Smokers

In smokers, free radicals generated by smoking can impair the effect of hyaluronic acid and collagen formation, thereby placing additional stress on the gum tissue.

Important Information

• Intended for use in the oral cavity.

• Apply only to the affected areas of the gums.

• Ensure thorough oral hygiene before application.

• In the case of persistent, pronounced, or worsening gum issues, a dental consultation should be sought.
