Recommended use:
To ensure continuous protection, a sufficient amount of active ingredient must always be present. Therefore, the product should be applied regularly. Parasites are active all year round - for example, fleas are not only an issue in summer and autumn - they also feel very comfortable in heated homes in winter. We therefore recommend treating indoor pets preventively all year round.
FRONTPRO® protects your dog from fleas for 5 weeks. The rapid onset of action also indirectly protects the home environment. The effect against ticks lasts for up to 1 month. For optimal effectiveness, FRONTPRO® should be administered every month.

Safety studies have shown that FRONTPRO has a large margin of safety; nevertheless, in this case, if your dog has consumed multiple FRONTPRO® chewable tablets, please contact a veterinarian immediately.

Can FRONTPRO® be safely used in dogs with epilepsy?

The active ingredient afoxolaner belongs to the isoxazoline class. Side effects of this class can include seizures in very rare cases. Specific studies with FRONTPRO® have not been conducted in dogs with epilepsy, so the potential effect of the treatment on seizure frequency is not known. It is recommended to use isoxazolines with caution in dogs with a history of epilepsy or other seizure disorders. Please contact your veterinarian for more information. 

Is FRONTPRO® safe for every dog breed?

FRONTPRO® has proven to be safe and effective in various dog breeds. It can be given to puppies from 8 weeks of age, provided they weigh at least 2 kg.
