What are femidoc® Kidney and Bladder Film-Coated Tablets and what are they used for?
femidoc® Kidney and Bladder Film-Coated Tablets contain extracts from bearberry leaves, birch leaves and goldenrod herb.
The contained plant extracts have mild anti-inflammatory, urinary tract disinfecting properties and stimulate urine flow.
femidoc® Kidney and Bladder Film-Coated Tablets are a traditional herbal medicinal product for women to increase urine volume and for the treatment of symptoms of mild, including recurrent, infections of the urinary tract, such as burning during urination and/or
frequent urination, after serious causes have been ruled out by a doctor.
This medicinal product is a traditional herbal medicinal product, registered exclusively based on long-term use for
the specified indications. If you do not feel better or even worse after 4 days, consult your doctor.
femidoc® Kidney and Bladder Film-Coated Tablets are used by adult women aged 18 and older.
How to take femidoc® Kidney and Bladder Film-Coated Tablets?
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this package leaflet or exactly as instructed by
your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The recommended dose is:
For adult women aged 18 and older:
2 – 3 times a day, 2 film-coated tablets.
Continuous use of femidoc® Kidney and Bladder Film-Coated Tablets should not exceed 7 days. If
you do not feel better or even worse after 4 days, consult your doctor.
Use in children and adolescents
As there is insufficient data, the use of femidoc® Kidney and Bladder Film-Coated Tablets in children and adolescents under 18 years of age is not recommended.
Method of administration
For oral use. The film-coated tablets should be taken with sufficient liquid.
If you have taken more femidoc® Kidney and Bladder Film-Coated Tablets than you should
No cases of overdose are known.
If you forget to take femidoc® Kidney and Bladder Film-Coated Tablets
Do not take a double dose. If you have forgotten a previous dose, continue
taking the medicine as stated in this package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor.
If you have any further questions on the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

What femidoc® Kidney and Bladder Film-Coated Tablets contain
• The active ingredients in 1 film-coated tablet are:
108 – 120 mg dry extract from bearberry leaves (Uvae
ursi folium), drug-extract ratio 4.0-5.0:1, adjusted to
20 – 26 % arbutin, extractant water,
46.25 mg dry extract from birch leaves (Betulae folium),
drug-extract ratio 4.5-5.5:1, extractant water, and
40 mg dry extract from goldenrod herb (Solidaginis herba),
drug-extract ratio 4-6:1, extractant ethanol 50%
(m/m).
• The other ingredients are: Maltodextrin, microcrystalline
cellulose, povidone, highly dispersed silica, simethicone,
talc, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate,
hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E171), and macrogol 400.
