Engystol® Tablets

What is Engystol and what is it used for?
Engystol is a homeopathic combination remedy consisting of various homeopathic single remedies that complement each other. Homeopathy is considered a form of therapy for acute and chronic diseases.

A potency chord is a combination of different potencies of the same active ingredient. Each potency level has its own effect, which means that the spectrum of action of the potency chord is broader and more sustainable than that of the individual potencies.

Areas of application:
The areas of application are based on homeopathic drug pictures and include colds and flu-like infections. The use of this homeopathic remedy in the mentioned areas is based exclusively on homeopathic experience. In severe cases of illness, a clinically proven therapy should be considered.

How to take Engystol?
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this package leaflet or as agreed with your doctor or pharmacist. Do not hesitate to ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice if you are unsure.

The recommended dosage is:

Adults aged 18 and over should take:
1 tablet 3 times a day.

In acute conditions:
1 tablet every 1-2 hours, up to a maximum of 8 times a day.

Use in children and adolescents:

• Infants aged 4 weeks to 23 months: 1 tablet daily.
• Children aged 2 to 6 years: 1 tablet 1-2 times a day.
• Children aged 6 to 12 years: 1 tablet 2 times a day.
• Adolescents aged 12 and over: 1 tablet 3 times a day.

In acute conditions, take:

• Infants aged 4 weeks to 23 months: 1 tablet every 1-2 hours, up to a maximum of 4 times a day.
• Children aged 2 to 6 years: 1 tablet every 1-2 hours, up to a maximum of 6 times a day.
• Children aged 6 to 12 years: 1 tablet every 1-2 hours, up to a maximum of 8 times a day.
• Adolescents aged 12 and over: 1 tablet every 1-2 hours, up to a maximum of 8 times a day.
• Reduce intake as symptoms subside.

Children under 4 weeks
The use of Engystol is not recommended for children under 4 weeks due to insufficient data.

Let the tablets dissolve slowly under your tongue. Take before meals. For children under 6 years, crush the tablets with a spoon, add a little liquid (approx. 50 ml water or unsweetened tea) and stir until the tablet is dissolved.

The duration of use depends on the respective clinical picture. If no improvement occurs within one week or if symptoms worsen, please consult a doctor.

Ingredients of Engystol
1 tablet contains: The active ingredients are: Vincetoxicum hirundinaria D6 75 mg, Vincetoxicum hirundinaria D10 75 mg, Vincetoxicum hirundinaria D30 75 mg, Sulfur D4 37.5 mg, Sulfur D10 37.5 mg.

The other ingredients are:
300 mg Lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate
