Resveratrol, which is found primarily in red grapes and in higher concentrations in red wine, is an important component of the so-called Mediterranean diet. In the sunny, Mediterranean countries, however, people traditionally consume a lot of fresh olives, tomatoes and citrus fruits in addition to red wine.
This form of nutrition has earned the reputation of being particularly valuable. Therefore, Dr. Böhm® Resveratrol Anti-Aging Dragees were developed, which, in addition to natural resveratrol, contain Mediterranean vital substances and vitamin C in a nutritionally sensible dosage. Thus, the dragees contribute to general health and well-being at any age.

The origin of resveratrol is very important for the quality of the product. Good resveratrol extracts from red grapevines are almost identical in terms of their ingredients to high-quality wine. And this is of great importance: red wine contains several types of valuable resveratrols that come from the skins of the grapes.
Therefore, a resveratrol extract used in tablets (such as in Dr. Böhm® Resveratrol Anti-Aging Dragees) must necessarily be obtained from red grapevines. Frequently used substitute extracts from "Japanese knotweed" mainly contain only one type of resveratrol, the so-called trans-resveratrol, and are therefore of lower quality.
The composition of Dr. Böhm® Resveratrol Anti-Aging Dragees is supplemented by valuable olive polyphenols, OPC from red grapes, citrus bioflavonoids and lycopene from tomatoes, as well as vitamin C, which contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
