Pain gel with ibuprofen for the local treatment of muscle and joint complaints. Supports the relief of pain and inflammation directly at the affected area.
Composition
Active ingredient:
- 50 mg Ibuprofen per 1 g gel
Other ingredients:
- Dimethyl isosorbide
- Isopropanol
- Poloxamer
- Medium-chain triglycerides
- Purified water
- Lavender oil
- Bitter orange blossom oil
Contains, among others: Benzyl alcohol, benzyl benzoate, citral, citronellol, coumarin, eugenol, farnesol, geraniol, D-limonene, linalool
Areas of application
For external application in:
- Inflammations and swellings in the area of periarticular structures (e.g. tendons, ligaments, bursae, joint capsules)
- Sports injuries and accidental injuries such as bruises, strains or sprains
Mechanism of action
Ibuprofen belongs to the anti-inflammatory pain relievers and inhibits the formation of prostaglandins, which are involved in pain and inflammation processes.
Due to the special gel structure, the active ingredient is rapidly absorbed through the skin and specifically transported to the affected tissue.
Application
- Apply to the affected area 3 times daily
- Massage in lightly
Dosage:
Depending on the size of the area, use a gel strip of approx. 4–10 cm (corresponds to approx. 2–5 g gel).
