Dia Tab® PRO is a dietetic complementary feed in the form of chewable tablets for dogs and cats to stabilize physiological digestion.

The combination of the probiotic bacterium Enterococcus faecium, prebiotic fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), carob flour, and bentonite supports a balanced intestinal flora and can be used during and after digestive disturbances.

Intended use

Dia Tab® PRO can be used when there is a risk of, during, and after digestive disturbances. Feeding can also be useful to support the intestinal flora after antibiotic treatment.

Properties of the ingredients

Enterococcus faecium is a probiotic, lactic acid-producing microorganism that helps to stabilize the intestinal flora.

Fructo-oligosaccharides and carob flour serve as prebiotic nutrients for beneficial microorganisms in the intestine.

Bentonite is a natural clay mineral with high swelling capacity and strong water-binding properties.

Feeding recommendation

When there is a risk of, during, and after digestive disturbances:

• Up to 5 kg body weight: ½ tablet twice daily

• Over 5–15 kg: 1 tablet twice daily

• Over 15–25 kg: 2 tablets twice daily

• Over 25–40 kg: 3 tablets twice daily

• Over 40 kg: 4 tablets twice daily

Recommended duration of feeding: up to 4 weeks.

Feeding can be repeated. According to the manufacturer, prolonged use is possible. Veterinary advice should be sought before extended use.

Pack size

100 g jar with approx. 50 chewable tablets of 2 g each.

Storage and shelf life

Store in a dry place at temperatures not exceeding 25 °C.

Shelf life: 24 months.

Important notes

Due to the high bentonite content, Dia Tab® PRO may only make up to 5.2% of the daily ration.

Simultaneous oral administration of macrolide antibiotics should be avoided.

In cases of severe or persistent diarrhea, blood in the stool, vomiting, fever, significant weakness, or a deterioration in general condition, the animal should be examined by a veterinarian.

Side effects and tolerance

In case of intolerance reactions or worsening of digestive symptoms, feeding should be discontinued and veterinary advice should be sought.
