Apple, citrus, and carrot pomace are rich in pectins and are characterized by high swelling and water-binding capacity. Through gel formation, they can support the intestinal mucosa and contribute to improving stool consistency.
Licorice, blueberries, blackberry leaves, and fennel seeds supplement the diet with secondary plant compounds. Fenugreek seeds round out the formula to support appetite and digestion.
Bentonite and diatomaceous earth also possess a high water-binding capacity.
