What is Desloratadine +pharma and what is it used for?
Desloratadine +pharma contains desloratadine, which belongs to the antihistamine class. Desloratadine +pharma is an anti-allergic medicine that does not make you drowsy. It helps to control your allergic reaction and its symptoms.

Desloratadine +pharma improves the symptoms of allergic rhinitis (inflammation of the nasal passages caused by an allergy, for example, hay fever or house dust mite allergy) in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older. These symptoms include sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itching of the palate, and itchy, red or watery eyes.
Desloratadine +pharma is also used to relieve symptoms associated with urticaria (a skin condition caused by an allergy). These include itching and hives.

The relief of these symptoms lasts a full day and helps you regain your normal daily activity and sleep.
If you do not feel better or even worse after 10 days, contact your doctor.

How to take Desloratadine +pharma?
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or exactly
as agreed with your doctor or pharmacist.

Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Adults and adolescents (12 years and older)
Take one film-coated tablet once daily.

How and when should you take Desloratadine +pharma?
Swallow the film-coated tablets whole with or without food, with water.

How long should you take Desloratadine +pharma?
The duration of treatment depends on the type, duration, and course of your symptoms. Consult a doctor if your symptoms persist or worsen. Treatment of intermittent allergic rhinitis (symptoms occur less than 4 days
per week or last less than 4 weeks) depends on your previous medical history, can be stopped once symptoms subside and resumed if they reappear.

If your allergic rhinitis is persistent (symptoms occur on 4 or more days per week and last longer than 4 weeks), longer-term treatment is recommended.

For urticaria, the duration of treatment may vary from patient to patient.

If you have taken more Desloratadine +pharma than you should
No serious problems are expected in case of an accidental overdose. If you have taken more Desloratadine +pharma than you should, contact your doctor or pharmacist immediately.

If you forget to take Desloratadine +pharma
If you have forgotten to take your dose on time, take it as soon as possible and then follow your normal treatment schedule. Do not take a double dose if you have forgotten the previous dose.
