What is China-Oel and what is it used for?
China-Oel is a traditional herbal medicine

• for the relief of symptoms of cough and cold (producing a vapor for inhalation)
• for the relief of tension headaches (topical application)
• for the relief of local muscle pain (topical application)

The use of this traditional herbal medicinal product in the stated indications is based exclusively on long-standing use. If you do not feel better or even worse after 1 week (cough and cold), 2 weeks (tension headaches), or 4 weeks (muscle pain), consult your doctor.

How to use China-Oel?
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or exactly as agreed with your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is:

• For the relief of symptoms of cough and cold
  
  • Dosage: 3 - 4 drops 2 - 3 times daily
    
  • Method of administration: For inhalation. Add 3 – 4 drops (0.08 - 0.12 ml) to hot water and inhale with closed eyes. The product contains a pocket inhaler, which facilitates controlled inhalation. If symptoms worsen or do not improve within 1 week, a doctor must be consulted.
    
• For the relief of tension headaches
  
  • Dosage: 2 - 3 drops up to 3 times daily
    
  • Method of administration: For topical application. Apply to temples and forehead and massage gently. If symptoms worsen or do not improve within 2 weeks, a doctor must be consulted.
• For the relief of local muscle pain
  
  • Dosage: 2 - 3 drops up to 3 times daily
    
  • Method of administration: For topical application. Apply to affected areas and massage gently. If symptoms worsen or do not improve within 4 weeks, a doctor must be consulted.
• Children:
  Since there is insufficient data, use in children aged 2 to 12 years cannot be recommended. China-Oel must not be used in infants and children up to 2 years of age.

Pocket Inhaler Instructions for Use

1. Remove the blue cap of the inhaler and
   
2. pull out the entire absorption pad from the lower part of the inhaler
   
3. distribute 3–4 drops on the pad;
   
4. insert the cap with the absorption pad into the lower part of the inhaler and close it
   
5. Treatment of the nasal cavity:
   Insert the blue side of the inhaler alternately into the nostrils and inhale deeply through the nose
6. Treatment of the throat cavity:
   Place the white side of the inhaler in the mouth and inhale deeply through it
   
   1. Insert the inhaler no more than 1 cm into the nose or mouth
      
   2. Clean the inhaler externally with a clean cloth after use
      
   3. For hygienic reasons, each inhaler should only be used by one person

If you have used more China-Oel than you should
Signs of significant overdose are:

Inhalation

• Dizziness, confusion
  
• Muscle weakness
  
• Nausea or double vision
  

In this case, stop inhalation immediately.

Topical application
No complaints of overdose have been reported. Wipe off any excess China-Oel with a cloth.

If you forgot to use China-Oel
Do not use a double amount if you have forgotten the previous application. Continue with the application as described in the package leaflet.

What China-Oel contains
The active ingredient is: Peppermint oil. 10 ml contains 10 ml peppermint oil (Menthae piperitae aetheroleum).

The other ingredients are:
none. 1 ml = 35 drops
