Canesten® Clotrimazole Solution: Effectively combat skin, foot and nail fungus
Canesten® Clotrimazole Solution is a broad-spectrum antifungal agent against skin fungal diseases and provides rapid relief for fungal infections of the skin, feet and nails. The liquid alternative to the proven Canesten® Clotrimazole Cream is easy to apply and particularly suitable for use on hairy skin areas. The active ingredient clotrimazole combats a variety of fungal pathogens, penetrates deep into the skin and inhibits fungal growth or kills the fungus. This means that Canesten® Clotrimazole Solution not only treats the symptoms of fungal infection, but also effectively combats their causes.

How to recognize skin and athlete's foot
Fungal infections can affect the skin and feet. On the foot, skin changes are often found between the toes, on the sole of the foot or on the nails. Typical symptoms include:

• Redness
• Itching and burning
• Flaky and dry skin
• Cracks and blisters

Nail fungus is mainly recognizable by whitish or yellowish discolorations at the edge of the nail, which gradually spread to the nail plate. In the further course, the nail thickens and becomes brittle.
How is Canesten® Clotrimazole Solution to be used?
Apply Canesten® Clotrimazole Solution two to three times a day. For the infection to heal completely, the treatment should be carried out over a period of at least four weeks according to the recommended treatment duration. Continue use even if a visible improvement occurs after a short time. This is how you proceed:

• Before application, wash your feet or the affected skin areas. Carefully remove loose skin flakes and then dry the skin thoroughly.
• Apply a thin layer of the solution to the affected skin areas and rub it into the skin.
• The towel used for drying should be washed at a temperature of at least 60 °C. After treatment, also wash your hands thoroughly to avoid infecting others.

The medicine can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding, but only after consulting a doctor during pregnancy.
How does Canesten® Clotrimazole Solution work?
One milliliter of Canesten® Clotrimazole Solution contains 0.01 grams of clotrimazole. The medicine, with its antifungal active ingredient clotrimazole, acts against numerous fungal pathogens. Not only on the skin surface, but also in deeper layers of the skin, the fungus's growth is inhibited or killed. This relieves symptoms such as itching and burning and thus contributes to a rapid healing of the inflamed skin areas.
