BRONCHOSTOP® Thyme Sage Throat and Pharynx Spray

What is BRONCHOSTOP® Thyme Sage Throat Spray and what is it used for?
Traditional herbal medicine for the symptomatic treatment of inflammations in the mouth or throat (such as sore throat, hoarseness and difficulty swallowing) as part of common cold illnesses. The use of this traditional herbal medicine in the mentioned indications is based exclusively on long-standing use. If you do not feel better or even worse after 1 week, consult your doctor.

How to use BRONCHOSTOP® Thyme Sage Throat Spray?
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or exactly as agreed with your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is:

Adults:
Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, spray into the mouth and throat 2 to 4 times a day (1 to 2 sprays each time).

Children and adolescents:
As there is insufficient data, use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age cannot be recommended.

Method of administration
The spray allows for an even and fine distribution of the active ingredients and targeted application to the affected areas.´

• Point the swivel cannula on the spray pump at a right angle to the bottle (see diagram).
• You can now hold the spray head, depending on your needs and the desired application area, in front of or inside your opened mouth. The cannula on the spray pump allows you to reach difficult-to-access areas (such as gum pockets) well.
• Spray BRONCHOSTOP® Thyme Sage Throat Spray by pressing 1 to 2 times. Before first use, pump several times until a steady spray stream emerges.
• Close the spray pump again after each use by turning the cannula back (see diagram).

What BRONCHOSTOP® Thyme Sage Throat Spray contains:
The active ingredients are: liquid extract from sage leaves, liquid extract from thyme.

1 g contains:
0.32 g liquid extract from sage leaves (Salviae folium, drug-extract ratio 1:4-6, extraction agent ethanol 70% (V/V) 0.32 g liquid extract from thyme (Thymi herba, drug-extract ratio 1:4-6, extraction agent ethanol 70% (V/V)

The other ingredients are: liquid extract from peppermint leaves (Menthae piperitae folium., drug-extract ratio 1:4-6, extraction agent ethanol 70% V/V); levomenthol, saccharin sodium (E 954), hydroxypropyl cellulose, ethanol, purified water
1 spray = 126 mg = 0.14 ml
