Can Bronchipret® be taken together with an antibiotic?
In most cases, respiratory infections are caused by viruses, an antibiotic is not effective here. Rather, the stuck mucus should be loosened and the inflammation in the bronchi fought.
However, the viral infection makes the mucous membranes more susceptible to bacterial disease. In this case, taking an antibiotic may be necessary. This decision must be made by your doctor. In both cases, Bronchipret® can be used to loosen the stuck mucus and fight inflammation in the bronchi. The prescribed antibiotic and Bronchipret® can be used in parallel. Take the antibiotic as prescribed, Bronchipret® until the illness has healed.
