BoxaGrippal® forte 400 mg/60 mg - for blocked nose and sinuses accompanied by a cold and flu-like infections

BoxaGrippal® forte is a combination medicine with two active ingredients: ibuprofen and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride.
Ibuprofen is anti-inflammatory and has pain-relieving and fever-reducing effects.
Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride has a vasoconstrictive effect and causes the nasal mucous membrane to decongest.

Area of application:
For the short-term symptomatic treatment of blocked nose and sinuses accompanied by headaches, fever and pain in flu-like infections in adults and adolescents aged 15 years and over.
The combination medicine may only be used if both a blocked nose and pain or fever are present. If only one of these symptoms is present, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted about treatment with ibuprofen or pseudoephedrine hydrochloride alone. If there is no improvement or even a worsening after 3 days (adolescents) or 4 days (adults), a doctor should be consulted.

Application:
Swallow the film-coated tablet whole with a glass of water, preferably with meals. Adults and adolescents aged 15 years and over take 1 tablet if symptoms are severe, every 6 hours if necessary. For less severe symptoms, taking 1 tablet of a lower-dose medicine with 200 mg ibuprofen and 30 mg pseudoephedrine hydrochloride may be sufficient; every 6 hours if necessary. A maximum daily dose of 3 tablets must not be exceeded.

Tablet core: Lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium (type A), highly dispersed silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate; Tablet coating:
Polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide (E171), Macrogol/PEG 3350, talc.
