What is Bepanthen® Eye and Nose Ointment and what is it used for?
Bepanthen® Eye and Nose Ointment is a product to support wound healing. Bepanthen® Eye and Nose Ointment is used: To support the healing of superficial minor skin lesions on the conjunctiva, cornea, or nasal mucous membrane.

How to use Bepanthen® Eye and Nose Ointment?
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or exactly as agreed with your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is: Apply an ointment string of approx. 1cm length into the conjunctival sac or onto the nasal mucous membrane (correspondingly less for infants and small children) once to several times a day with the help of the cannula. By pressing the nostrils, the ointment can be gently massaged into the nose.

If you have used Bepanthen® Eye and Nose Ointment for the nose, the same tube must no longer be used for the eye

Duration of use
The duration of use depends on the type and course of the illness.

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of Bepanthen® Eye and Nose Ointment is too strong or too weak.

What Bepanthen® Eye and Nose Ointment contains

The active ingredient is: Dexpanthenol. 1g ointment contains 50mg dexpanthenol.

The other ingredients are:
rac- (3R)-3-hydroxy-4,4-dimethyloxolan-2-one; Wool fat; Liquid paraffin; White petroleum jelly, water for injections.
